KJCCC Men's Track & Field Athletes of the Week - Indoor Week 3

Indoor track and field season is underway and our week three of KJCCC Athletes of the Week honors have been awarded. 

MEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Andre Morrison (Butler) – He posted the fastest time in the NJCAA this indoor season in the 60-meter dash while winning the race at the Pittsburg State Invitational. He posted a time of 6.67 in the prelims and then won with a time of 6.60 in the finals. The time is a personal record and NJCAA qualifying time. 

MEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Christopher Young (Barton) – He etched his name atop the record books at Barton in with a throw of 18.67 meters in the shot put at the New Mexico Team Open in Albuquerque. The marks also ranks fourth all-time in the NJCAA.
