KJCCC Men's Track & Field Athletes of the Week - Indoor Week 4

Indoor track and field season is underway and our week four of KJCCC Athletes of the Week honors have been awarded. 

MEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Josiyah Taylor (Fort Scott) – He won the 200-meters at the Washburn Open with a time of 20.97 to win the event and break the school record; the mark ranks fourth in the NJCAA. He also took second in the 60-meters with a personal record time of 6.77. 

MEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Chris Johnson (Hutchinson) – Posted a vault of 4.8 meters for a personal and school record in the pole vault at the Washburn Open. He placed sixth in the event while improving his national qualifying mark and has the best NJCAA mark.
