KJCCC Men's Track & Field Athletes of the Week - Outdoor Week 1

Outodor track and field season is underway and our week one of KJCCC Athletes of the Week honors have been awarded. 

MEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Dekell Minor (Fort Scott) – He ran the #1 time in NJCAA in the 100m with a time of 10.26 in the 100m at the Kirk Baptiste Spring Invitational while also running the first leg of the 4x100m relay which posted the #1 time in NJCAA, 39.55. The 4x100m relay time also ranks the the 14th fastest time in NJCAA history.

MEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
La'Darion Dudley (Coffeyville) – He won both the shot put at two different events as he posted a personal record throw of 17.55m at the Kirk Baptiste Spring Invitational competing against a field full of NCAA Division I competition. He took first at the Texas Southern Relays also with a throw of 16.92m once again competing against NCAA DI competition.
