2017 KJCCC D1 Softball Players of the Week, Week 11

Becca Schulte hit .667 for the week (10-15), hitting safely in all four games for the Butler Grizzlies. She had a triple, home run and drove in an average of three runs per game for 12 RBI for the week. She also scored eight runs – an average of two runs per game. 

Regan Mergele, Butler, threw eight scoreless innings, earning two victories on the week. She threw three no-hit innings at Garden City, striking out seven batters and earning the victory. Then on Sunday against Barton, she went five innings, allowing five hits with three walks, but striking out eight to get out of several jams without allowing a run. She improves to 22-0 on the season with a 0.50 ERA, which leads the nation.
