2017 KJCCC D2 Softball Players of the Week, Week 11
Johnson County sophomore pitcher Megan Deiter pitched two complete game victories, including a one-hitter, and struck out 25 batters over 13 innings of work.
Jolona Shield continued to swing a hot bat as she homered in three of four games and helped Cowley clinch the Jayhawk Conference Eastern Division title. Shield finished the week 6-of-14 with three home runs, 10 runs batted in and four runs scored as the Lady Tigers outscored their four opponents 25-2.
