Winter Henry, Allen, helped her team earn a split with Maplewoods Community College with her timely hitting. Henry led the Red Devils going 6-for-8, with five singles and a homerun, while stealing two bases. Against Jefferson College, Henry went 5-for-8 at the plate to lead her team and help the Lady Red Devils split the two games. On the week, Henry went 14-for-22 (.636 average) with five RBIs, two doubles and a homer. She also played stellar defense with 12 putouts, 0 errors and a fielding percentage of 1.000.

Cloud County sophomore Jordan Ummel, a First-Team All—District D selection last season, fit the bill last week as she pitched 18 innings across four different games, allowing just four unearned runs on 10 hits while striking out 21. Ummel picked up the win to begin the week on Tuesday with a dominating six-inning shutout of Southeast Community College where she allowed just five base runners and struck out 10. She would face off against the Storm in game two of Tuesday's doubleheader, pitching five scoreless innings of relief, and then again on Saturday during the first day of the Cloud County Spring Classic Tournament, tossing four more strong innings in relief. Currently, Ummel owns a 2-0 record, 1.14 earned run average, and has 32 strikeouts in 30 2/3 innings.
