KJCCC Kansas MTXE D1 Softball Athletes of the Week, Week 5, 2018

Kenzie Young hit safely in each game this week as Butler went 8-0. She hit .522 (12-23) with three doubles, a triple and five home runs, with 14 RBI. She also scored 13 runs and recorded 13 putouts while playing error-free defense in center field. 

Celina Sullivan went 4-0 this week for Butler with a save as the Grizzlies won all eight games they played.  In 17 innings pitched, she allowed just six earned runs, while strikeout 26 batters. Against #20 Indian Hills (IA), she pitched all seven innings in the first game of the doubleheader, then threw the final 1.1 innings in game two, earning the victory in both games.
