KJCCC Kansas MTXE D1 Softball Athletes of the Week, Week 6, 2018

Sophomore Jullian Atteberry had a big week at the plate during the Lady Saints trip to Arizona. She had a .577 batting averaging while knocking in 11 RBI and crossing the plate herself 11 times.  She went three straight games hitting a home run and in the final game against Scottsdale was a homerun shy of the cycle.

Monique Ashley was absolutely brilliant over Spring Break, posting an ERA of 0.35 in her three Seward County games pitched going a perfect 3-0 over the stretch.  Ashley averaged 12 strikeouts per outing and her 19 strikeouts against Scottsdale tied the Seward County record for most strikeouts in a single game.  Ashley is now 13-3 on the year with a 1.44 ERA and has recorded 136 strikeouts.
