KJCCC Kansas MTXE D2 Softball Athletes of the Week, Week 6, 2018

Johnson County freshman pitcher Kerrigan Dixon pitched a two-hit shutout over Allen and followed with her first career no-hitter against Cloud County last week. She allowed just two singles with three strikeouts in the an 8-0 win against Allen on March. She nearly hurled a perfect game at Cloud County, allowing just one base runner with a walk. She also struck out one batter.

Heidi Nitsch, Cowley, hit .500 on the week, with 15 RBI's and 3 HR's in KCK game and a home run in the Highland game.  Nitsch had six of the nine RBI's in Highland game 1, She set a new Cowley record for number of RBI's score in one inning (7). Nitsch hit a triple to get the win over Highland in Game 1
