KJCCC Kansas MTXE D2 Softball Athletes of the Week, Week 9, 2018

Sophomore first baseman Raven Bass belted a grand slam and had three hits in a victory over No. 9 Highland last week for the 24-6 Blue Dragons. Bass hit .500 (7 for 14) and slugged .714 with seven RBIs last week. She hit a grand slam, her eighth homer of the season, against Independence in an 11-1 victory. Bass then went 3 for 4 with a run scored in Hutchinson's 4-3 win over Highland.

Freshman Bailey Naden tossed a no-hitter in a 19-0 win over North Arkansas College. Naden struck out four and walked three in the five-inning win. The no-hitter was the first of her collegiate career for Naden.
