Kenzie Young extended her hitting streak to 22 games, hitting safely in all six contests as Butler went 6-0 on the week. She hit .632 for the week (12-19) while scoring 10 runs and driving in 10 runs. She had three homers, two doubles and a triple, as well as stealing six bases. She saved her best for the biggest games. In a matchup of undefeated conference teams, Kenzie hit a 2-run home run against Seward ace Monique Ashley in a 3-0 win. In the second game of the doubleheader, she hit two home runs.

Celina Sullivan went 3-0 this week with a big win in a showdown with Seward's Monique Ashley. In the 3-0 win over Seward, Sullivan went the distance, allowing just two hits while striking out a career-high 13 Saints batters. Sullivan also won two other starts this week, going six innings against Garden City, allowing just one hit with 12 strikeouts. She also went three innings in a run-rule shortened game against Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa, allowing one hit while striking out seven. For the week, Sullivan struck out 32 batters in 16 innings, an average of two batters per inning.
