KJCCC Kansas MTXE D1 Softball Athletes of the Week, Week 10, 2018

Alexis Reed homered in three straight games and finished the week with four home runs, along with 11 RBI as Butler went 6-0 on the week. Reed, a sophomore from Lee's Summit, Mo.,  hit .571 for Butler (8-14) and scored five runs. She also drew five walks and had a double for Butler. She is tied for first in the conference and seventh nationally with 16 home runs on the season and is tied for 16th nationally with her 57 RBI.

Celina Sullivan, Butler, threw her first complete-game no-hitter, beating Northwest Tech 8-0 on the road on Tuesday and did not allow an earned run in 14 innings of work, going 3-0 on the week. She continued to pile up strikeouts, punching out 25 batters, including 11 in five innings against Norwest Tech. Sullivan allowed just one hit in the 14 innings and two walks.
