Chelsea Smith continued to mow down opposing hitters as she struck out 49 batters in 30 innings on the week. Smith went 4-1 with a save as she currently ranks atop the Jayhawk Conference in strikeouts. Smith allowed only 22 hits and nine earned runs in her 30 innings pitched.

Labette Community College Freshman Catcher/Designated Player

Tonganoxie, KS

Labette freshman Audrey Miller had a stellar week offensively and defensively behind the plate as she helped the Lady Cardinals win four of six conference games. Miller batted .600 (12-of-20) with two home runs and 10 RBIs. She also caught three of four attempted base stealers and was behind the plate for a pair of shutouts.
