2019 KJCCC Softball D2 Players of the Week, Week 11

KJCCC Division II Softball Player of the Week

The No. 5-ranked Highland softball team went 4-0 last week to move their win total to 30 on the season and also claim a share of the KJCCC title. Helping lead the way was sophomore, Alexis Hodapp who went 6-for-10 with eight RBIs, four runs scored, a double, home run, three walks and three stolen bases in four games. She was 2-for-4 with three RBIs and a run scored against Neosho County scoring the winning run in the bottom of ninth in a tight play at the plate. In the second game against Southeast she went 3-for-3 with a run scored, home run and four RBIs. On the year Hodapp leads the Scotties and KJCCC in batting average (.505) with 46 hits and a team best 52 RBIs, while scoring 29 runs. 

KJCCC Division II Softball Pitcher of the Week

Allen Community College freshmen pitcher Chloe Enderud helped the Lady Red Devils win games against Cloud County, Labette, and Metropolitan Community College. In the Red Devils split against Cloud, Enderud got the game one victory of 10-2, giving up four hits while fanning six batters. In Allen’s series against Labette, Enderud again earned the win, giving up five hits while striking out seven in an 8-6 victory. Enderud would get her third win of the week against Metropolitan CC throwing 6 1/3 innings giving up seven hits in a 9-3 Allen win. On the week, Enderud went 3-0 throwing 19 2/3 innings, striking out 17 and giving up 18 hits in five appearances and having an ERA of 1.42.
