Johnson County freshman Megan Weigel hit .364 (4-for-11) with three doubles, three runs scored and drove in four runs competing at the Crowder Bash in Joplin, Mo., last week. She also was perfect in the field, making five putouts.

Johnson County sophomore pitcher Kerrigan Dixon logged 12 2/3 innings and struck out eight batters last weekend playing in the Crowder Bash in Joplin, Mo. She opened the Bash with a 5-4 loss to NEO A&M. She allowed five runs off seven hits with three strikeouts. In her second outing, Dixon allowed just one run off four hits and struck out five batters to earn the victory.
