Sophomore Skylar Darnell had a big week at the plate as she helped Cowley win three of four games. Darnell went 7-of-11 with two home runs, two doubles, six runs scored and nine runs batted in. She also walked three times to post a .714 on base percentage.

Johnson County freshman Kayla Etter picked up her first collegiate victory, hurling all seven innings in a 3-1 win over North Iowa Area last weekend. She allowed one unearned run off five hits and struck out 12 batters. She also pitched one inning of hitless relief a day earlier in a 4-1 loss to Jefferson.
