The second-leading hitter in the NJCAA hit .643 in a 3-1 week for the Blue Dragons. She had an on-base percentage of .667 and had a slugging percentage of 1.500 in going 9 of 14 with three doubles, three home runs with 13 RBIs and eight runs scored. Grimes had two three-hit games and four multi-RBIS games. She had a grand slam in a 9-8 win over Barton.

Maddie Redman, sophomore pitcher from Stillwell, KS, remained perfect in the circle for the No. 4-ranked Grizzlies as she improved to 13-0 on the season throwing eight innings of three hit softball last week. She pitched a perfect three innings in game one throwing five strikeouts and pitched a no run five innings in game two allowing just three hits while striking out eight. Redman has struck out 72 batters on the season while walking just four.
