Savannah Maynard hit .500 for the week, helping the Blue Devils go 3-1 against Fort Scott CC and Labette CC. She also scored four runs and knocked in another four. Maynard added two doubles and a home run for the week as she is now third on the team with eight home runs and 32 RBI. 

KJCCC Division II Softball Pitcher of the Week

Johnson County right-hand pitcher Kaylin Watkins recorded two complete game victories last week. She opened the week with a one-hit shutout with eight strikeouts again Allen, and closed out the week with a three-hit 10-2 win at Fort Scott. She also struck out eight batters, and she helped herself out at the plate with two hits, a run and an RBI. With the two victories, Watkins improved to 6-1 on the season and lowered her ERA to 1.49, second lowest in KJCCC D-II.
