Liberty Hawks came in clutch for the Blue Devils, driving in eight runs in four games while adding two home runs to her impressive season. She hit both home runs in the first game against MCC, and one of them was a grand slam. She helped the Blue Devils on both sides of the ball, playing error-free softball and recording five putouts and five assists.

Johnson County freshman right-hand pitcher Maria Unverzagt improved to 7-0 on the season with a complete game shutout over Allen last week. She scattered five hits, walked one, and struck out three over seven innings in a 5-0 victory.
