KJCCC Kansas MTXE Women's Basketball Athletes of the Week, Week 6, 2017
2017 All-American Mollie Mounsey was on an absolute tear this week, putting up the 2nd and 3rd highest point totals of her career. Her efforts this week pushed her over the 900-career point mark and her 35-point performance is tied for the 10th highest in Lady Saints history. On the week she averaged 34.5 points, while shooting 62.1 percent (23-37) from the field, 62.5 percent (10-16) from behind the arc, and 92.8 percent (13-14) from the charity stripe.
Freshman PG Kamryn Lemon started the week off scoring 24 points in leading the Scotties to a 127-27 victory over Oklahoma Wesleyan. For the week Lemon averaged almost 4 apg as well as contributing almost 3 steals per game.
