KJCCC Kansas MTXE Women's Basketball Athletes of the Week, Week 9, 2017-18

Taylor Regan entered the Barton record books twice this past week in defensive and total rebounds while averaging a double-double as the Lady Cougars split of pair of conference games.  Recording a program third best sixteen defensive rebounds Wednesday night at Colby, the Albert freshman grabbed another fifteen on the defensive glass Saturday for a combined thirty-seven rebounds in the two games as both single game totals rank in the school's top ten list.  Also scoring in double-digits, Regan posted her third double-double of the season to go along with five blocks in the pair of contests.

Kansas City KS forward Kisi Young averaged 18.6 points on sixty percent shooting in three games last week.  The Magnolia AR freshman also averaged 10.6 rebounds and three assists over the stretch of three wins.
