KJCCC DI Women's Basketball Player of the Week - Week 3

Sissoko was key in helping Cloud County cap off a five-game home stand with three wins last week which included a come-from-behind victory over Seward County in their KJCCC opener. After opening the week with a 17-point, 19-rebound game against Bethany JV, Sissoko would be limited to just 16 minutes and eight points in a 71-41 win over Tabor JV to help the T-Birds finish off their non-conference portion of their schedule. Sissoko would then be instrumental in the KJCCC opener against the Lady Saints, coming off the bench and having game-highs of 22 points and 19 rebounds to help CCCC overcome a 10-point halftime deficit. 16 of Sissoko's points and 10 of her rebounds against Seward would come in the second half as the T-Birds would outscore SCCC 46-31 in the final 20 minutes to win by five. On the season, Sissoko is averaging 15.0 points and 13.5 rebounds per game, both of which lead Cloud County with the rebounding ranking second in KJCCC division I and the scoring average 11th among KJCCC division I players.
