(KJCCC office)  The nationally-ranked Butler women's soccer squad moved to the East side of the conference for 2016, and promptly garnered the top spot in the women's preseason coaches poll.

Meanwhile back on the West side, the Hutchinson Blue Dragons were tabbed as the favorite in the coaches poll.

Butler head coach Adam Hunter is in his ninth year, with five straight appearances in the NJCAA national soccer tournament.  Butler is followed at the top of the poll by Johnson COunty and Allen.

Sammy Lane continues to head the highly-successful Hutchinson soccer program, with three Region VI championships and ten straight winning seasons.  Hutch is followed by Dodge City and Barton in the West women's poll.
