Week 4 - Division II KJCCC Women's Soccer Athletes of the Week
Player: Lotta Meindl (Johnson County)
JCCC freshman midfielder Lotta Meindl helped the Cavaliers go 1-0-1 against a pair of top-20 ranked teams last week. Against No. 20 Neosho County on September 6, Meindl provided perfect feed to teammate Sydney Hammett with 36 seconds to play for the game tying goal. Three days later she scored an unassisted goal in the 21st minute that proved to be the game winner in a 3-1 win at No. 11 ranked Allen. That was Meindl’s second goal of the season and second game winner.

Goalkeeper: Maddox Fergus (Johnson County)
JCCC freshman goalkeeper Maddox Fergus saved three of the four shots she faced to help lead the No. 10 ranked Cavaliers to a 3-1 victory at No. 11 Allen on Saturday afternoon. With the win Fergus improved her season mark to 3-1-0 while lowering her GAA to 1.25.
