2023 KJCCC Women's Soccer Division I Athletes of the Week, Wk. 6

Player: Nina Norshie (Barton CC)

Nina Norshie broke her three-game scoreless stretch in continuing to climb up the Barton all-time list with a six goal week leading 12th ranked Barton to a pair of road victories. Snapping the skid with two net shakers Wednesday in Garden City, Norshie continued her offensive aggression on Saturday in Liberal with a four-goal outing for her 10th time of exceeding three or more goals. The week moved Norshie from 4th to sole possession of 2nd all-time in Barton history with 52nd career goals while moving up a spot to 5th all-time with 113 career points.

Goalkeeper: Karli Angle (Kansas City Ks CC)

Karli Angle, KCKCC Sophomore goalkeeper from Liberty, Missouri gave up zero goals and recorded 8 saves in two KCKCC victories last week. Angle entered at halftime at Cowley when her Blue Devils were down 0-2. KCKCC ended up winning 3-2 at Cowley with Angle allowing zero goals and collecting two saves in the win. Angle played all 90 minutes when KCKCC won 3-0 versus Garden City. Angle recorded 6 saves in that shutout win.
