Six KJCCC Women's Soccer Teams Remain Ranked In NJCAA Week 3 Soccer Rankings
CHARLOTTE, NC – Week three of the NJCAA Women's Soccer Rankings have been released with six teams from the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference either holding their same spot or moving up in the latest polls released on Monday, September 16th.

CHARLOTTE, NC – Week three of the NJCAA Women's Soccer Rankings have been released with six teams from the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference either holding their same spot or moving up in the latest polls released on Monday, September 16th.
Four of the six teams from the KJCCC that are ranked this week find themselves in the NJCAA Division 1 Women's Soccer Top 20 poll with NJCAA Region 6 (KJCCC) joining Region 14 (East Texas) as regions with multiple teams ranked in the top 10 of this week's poll. Remaining unbeaten with a pair of wins last week, Butler moves up two spots to become the number six team in the country while Kansas City Kansas Community College also makes a two-spot leap in the polls to number nine this week following a pair of shutout wins last week. Joining the Grizzlies and Blue Devils in this week's poll is number 14-ranked Cowley Community College along with number 17-ranked Hutchinson Community College as the Tigers hold steady with their ranking while the Blue Dragons move up one spot.
As for the NJCAA Division 2 Women's Soccer Top 20 Poll, Johnson County remains unbeaten on the year at 5-0-3 with two wins last week to remain number three in the country behind only Northwest Mississippi Community College and Jones College out of NJCAA Region 23 (Louisiana & Mississippi). The Cavaliers shutout both of their opponents last week including previously number 18-ranked Neosho County who moves up two spots to number 16 this week as the Panthers rebounded from their 2-0 loss with a 5-0 win over Highland.
Two ranked matchups take place this week across the conference in women's soccer action beginning on Wednesday, September 18th as Kansas City Kansas takes their 6-0-1 record on the road to number 17 ranked Hutchinson for a 6 PM matchup at the Salthawk Soccer Complex. The Blue Dragons are 4-1-2 on the year with their lone loss coming on the road at Butler as the two teams currently sit in second and third in the KJCCC women's soccer standings. The Blue Devils will then take part in the other ranked matchup of the week as KCKCC will welcome number 14 Cowley for a 5 PM kickoff on Saturday, September 21st.
