KJCCC Women's Track & Field Athletes of the Week - Outdoor Week 1

Outdoor track and field season is underway and week one of KJCCC Athletes of the Week have been awarded. 

WOMEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Damazvia Dames (Fort Scott) - Won the TSU Relays in Long Jump 5.50m and Triple Jump 12.17m
 
WOMEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Diondra Wilborn (Garden City) - "Diondra Wilborn put together a very solid day of performances at the WT Spring Break Classic. Wilborn started off earning her first national qualifying performance in the 100 meter hurdles, clocking in a time of 14.67. She later came back and placed 3rd in the 400 meter hurdles and ran a 1:05.48, qualifying for the national meet. Both of her performances in the hurdles missed school record by .3 of a second. Wilborn also played a key role on the Garden City 4x100 and 4x400 relays at the meet, helping them place 5th and 3rd respectively. Wilborn currently sits 3rd in the nation for both the 100 and 400 meter hurdles.
