Indoor track and field season is underway and week one of KJCCC Athletes of the Week have been awarded. 

WOMEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Star Mpama (Butler) – She won both the 400 and 600 meter runs with times of 58.11 and 1:40.06 at the Friends First Chance Qualifier. Both times are #1 in the NJCAA.  

WOMEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Cloe Kalanick (Garden City) – Made finals for both shot put and weight throw finishing fifth in weight throw with a toss of 12.24 meters (40'2") and sixth in shot put with throw of 10.44 meters (34'3") at the Friends First Chance Qualifier.
