Indoor track and field season is underway and week two of KJCCC Athletes of the Week have been awarded. 

WOMEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Miracle Thompson (Cloud County) - She won the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 8.52 at the UNL Graduate Classic; in qualifying she posted a time of 8.47 which is the #1 mark in the NJCAA. She also ran a leg on the 4x400 meter relay team who finished with a time of 3:54.25 to place fourth and qualify for Nationals. 

WOMEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Shackala Henry (Cloud County) - She finished third at the UNL Graduate Classic in the high jump with a leap of 1.73m (5'8") a mark that is #1 in the NJCAA. She also seventh in the triple jump.
