Indoor track and field season is underway and week three of KJCCC Athletes of the Week have been awarded. 

WOMEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Vimbayi Maisvorewa (Cloud County) - Earned first place in the 400m at the Washburn Rust Buster with a time of 55.62. The time is a NJCAA qualifying time and posted a split time of 54.61 in the winning 4x400m relay team who posted a time of 3:52 overall.

WOMEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Aranxta Cortez (Cowley) - Recorded a personal record and national qualifying mark in the pole vault at the Washburn Rust Buster. Her vault of 3.65m (11'11.75") earned her fifth place overall and is the #1 mark in the NJCAA.
