Outdoor track and field season is underway and our week four of KJCCC Athletes of the Week honors have been awarded. 

WOMEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Women's 4x800 meter relay team (Cloud County) – The quartet of Nontokozo Ncube, Mercy Angaamchaab, N Vanee Anchike, and Jaelyn Rumback posted a time of 9:10.55 in the 4x800 meter relay setting a school record. The time was good for second place at the Friends Spring Invitational and ranks #1 in the NJCAA. 

WOMEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Treneese Hamilton (Barton) – She took seventh in the shot put with a throw of 13.98 meters (45'10.5") at the Alabama Crimson Tide Invitational as she competed against top tier NCAA Division I competitors.
