KJCCC - II Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week

Emily Bruce    Fort Scott Community College    Sophomore    5'3"    Libero

Sophomore Emily Bruce continues to put up huge numbers in the defensive column for the Greyhounds.  She is currently ranked first in NJCAA DII volleyball in total digs and sixth in digs per set at 7.04. This week she put up an impressive 160 digs, averaging 6.67 digs per set as well as adding 25 assists.

KJCCC - II Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

Aurianna Jackson    Labette Community College    Sophomore    6'1"    Middle Hitter

Aurianna Jackson is a physical middle who has the height, jumping ability, and power of a strong middle.  She has a quite nature about her but her presence is felt when she is on the court. She came up big for Labette in the team's six matches on the week as she finished with 87 kills and 28 blocks. Her stellar week was highlighted by her 32 kills and seven blocks in a win over the Ottawa University JV.
