KJCCC East VOLLEYBALL Athletes of the Week, Week 1

Danielle Dodge provided the top-ranked Lady Red Ravens with solid defense as Coffeyville went 4-0 at the NJCAA Junior College Volleyball Extravaganza in Wichita. Dodge finished with 59 digs and 13 blocks in four matches.

Dekyra Dennis had a stellar weekend while leading Coffeyville to wins over three ranked opponents, including wins over a pair of teams ranked among the top-four squads nationally. She averaged 12.5 assists per set and nearly two digs per set.

Adainez (Nani) Reyes Rivera started the season with a bang as she led Coffeyville with 6.7 kills and 4.8 digs per set. She had 20 plus kills in all four matches, including 25 in a straight set win over Longview.
