KJCCC West Volleyball Athletes of the Week, Week 2
Migle Mazurkeviciute was Barton's go-to this week hitting .314 including three double-doubles in helping Barton to a 4-2 record in the six matches. Playing both OH and OPP the first two matches, Mazurkeviciute only played the OH and put up double-digit kills in each of the matches including a career high nineteen against Region VI foe Cloud County Community College.
Kyndal Bacon had a successful start to conference play with 58 assists and 7 kills, as well as 8 block assists and 16 digs. She averaged 9.60 assists per set as well as 2.70 digs per set.
Sophomore Libero Raychel Reed had her second 20-dig game of the season and 10th of her career in a three-set sweep of Barton last week. Reed had 21 digs against the Cougars and was perfect on 12 service receptions. Reed added three set assists in the victory
