KJCCC West VOLLEYBALL Athletes of the Week, Week 3

Julie Archer of Andale, Kansas continued her success offensively with 3 double-doubles this week while Colby went 6-0 with a big win over No. 7 Hill.  Archer averaged 3.30 kills per set over 22 sets with a .237 hitting percentage.  She had 12 blocks, 78 digs, averaged 3.50 digs per set, and had 5 aces. 

Kyndal Bacon continued to lead the Trojans to success in a 6-0 week vs. Pratt CC and against some quality opponents at the Cedar Valley/North Lake tournament in Dallas, Texas.  Kyndal averaged 9.80 assists per set, tallying 195 assists over 20 sets.  She had 14 blocks, averaged 3.60 digs per set, and had 24 kills.  Bacon also posted three double doubles over the course of the week. 

Sophomore libero Nathiellen Machado had a career night at Hutchinson, coming away with a career-high 25 digs.  Her digs led all players as her defensive presence helped the Lady Saints rebound from a set one loss to win the match 3-1 in Hutchinson.
