KJCCC West VOLLEYBALL Athletes of the Week, Week 9
Luz Sierra continued her dominance at the net last week, hitting .541 combined over nine sets. She currently ranks 3rd in the nation in attacking percentage. The 6-foot-6 sophomore was a force at the net this week, blocking nearly everything that came her way. Sierra finished with 10 blocks in just nine sets, good for 1.11 blocks per set. She also came away with six digs.
Kyndal Bacon had another great week for the Colby Trojans, helping lead them to two conference wins against Barton and Butler. She had 74 assists, averaging 10.6 per set. Bacon had 6 kills, 7 blocks, 21 digs, and 3 aces over the course of the week, making a big difference both offensively and defensively.
