KJCCC West VOLLEYBALL Athletes of the Week, Week 11

Djuly Schmorantz played a vital role in helping the Lady Saints clinch the Region VI Championship last week.  After having dominating offensive performances the first three matches, she came away with 16 digs in the championship against Hutchinson to keep the ball in play time and again.

Laura De Pra had another phenomenal week as the setter for Seward County, finishing with an incredible 11.80 assists per set over the course of the three match Region VI Tournament. She finishes the season second in the nation in assists per set with 10.90.

Luz Sierra continued to be a force at the net, finishing with 10 blocks in just 10 sets played.  She also added 32 kills, while hitting an astonishing .538 in the Region VI Tournament.
