KJCCC Division II Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

Kusmuk continues to put up big numbers for the Lady Tiger volleyball team as she recorded five double-doubles on the week. Kusmuk was named the Most Valuable Player of the Iowa Central Tournament where Cowley went 4-0 and defeated three ranked opponents. Kusmuk registered 125 kills in the five matches and became the first player in Cowley history to reach 1,000 career kills.

Mader continues to quarterback the Fort Scott team, averaging 11.52 assists per set in the Lady Greyhounds’ five matches, and putting up a career high of 13.0 assists/set against Lake Land. She added 50 digs and 11 blocks while helping lead Fort Scott to a 5-0 record.

Casper had a strong week versus tough competition, recording 142 digs in five matches. She has only been libero for two weeks and already is making her way into the top-three in the conference in digs/set and top-four in total digs. She averaged 7.47 digs/set on the week, helping Fort Scott go 5-0.
