Sophomore middle hitter Brittany Barnekoff had a strong showing for Fort Scott as she hit .461 with 39 kills in a pair of wins. She was especially big in the win over No. 17-ranked NEO as she finished with 23 kills, seven blocks, and three digs.

KJCCC Division II Volleyball Setter of the Week

Katie Pearson continued her stellar sophomore year helping lead the Scotties to two more wins. Against Neosho County Pearson notched a double-double with a season high 58 assists and 14 digs, while adding a pair of kills. She followed that performance with her 19th double-double of the season posting 34 assists and 16 digs in a three set win over Indian Hills on the road. Her 1,287 assists on the season are second most in a single season in school history behind only her freshman performance last season.

Freshman libero Abbie Casper continues to lead the Fort Scott defense, averaging 7.71 digs per set this past week. She finished with 54 digs in a pair of wins and passed at a 97.4 percent clip in serve receive.
