SEWARD, BARTON PLAYERS EARN WEEK 10 VOLLEYBALL HONORS

All three KJCCC Division I Volleyball player are multiple-time winners. Seward County's Yanlis Feliz and Laura de Pra are Week 10s Player and Setter of the Week. Barton libero Karina deOliveria is the Defensive Player of the Week

PLAYER - Yanlis Feliz, Seward County
Outside hitter Yanlis Feliz was able to increase her points per set to 5.2 as she had 53 total kills to average 5.3 kills per set this past week in the last two regular-season matches for the Lady Saints. Feliz is ranked fifth in kills per set, hitting percentage, and fourth in points per set with 5.4 in the nation. To end the regular season Feliz led the No. 3 Lady Saints to a victory over No. 20 Colby Community College with a match high of 27 kills and 18 digs.

SETTER - Laura de Pra, Seward County
Sophomore Laura De Pra averaged 13.4 assists per set and had a total of 134 assists in the final two matches of the season. De Pra also added 10 kills and six total blocks during the week and had an average hitting percentage of .676. This week De Pra moved to second in school history with a career total of 2,456 assists, the previous student athlete was at a total of 2,404 total assists.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER - Karina deOliveria, Barton
Karina de Oliveira continues to anchor Barton's back line with coverage all over the court in helping Barton to an upset win and two victories on the week to solidify the Cougars top-four standing of the Jayhawk West. Recording 9.3 digs per set in the sweep over Butler, Oliveira chalked up another twenty-eight total digs helping lead an upset win over No. 20 Colby. The week's efforts brought Oliveira to 634 digs on the season while eclipsing the 1000 career mark with 1,026 as both stats rank second best in Barton Volleyball history.
