To finish off the regular season sophomore Faith Simpson had a huge week and helped the Lady Red Ravens to their 10th conference win and another Jayhawk East championship. Simpson averaged five kills per set and had 20 kills against Labette. She recorded double-doubles in wins over Independence and Labette.   

KJCCC Division II Volleyball Setter of the Week

Sophomore Aleyshka Quinones is running a solid offense and this week had the time to run a 5-1. She had a stellar sophomore night, recording 36 assists for an average of 12 assists per set. She also added seven digs and two blocks in the win over Independence. 

KJCCC Division II Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week

Alejandra Delgado came up big in Cowley’s win over No. 7-ranked Johnson County as the sophomore libero finished with 23 digs and passed a 2.24. She added 10 digs in a loss at NJCAA Division I Butler Community College. Delgado currently ranks second in Cowley history with 161 career service aces, while ranking fourth in KJCCC Division II in total digs.
