Seliann Concepcion was top-ranked Coffeyville’s top point scorer and leader while helping the Lady Red Ravens go 5-0 on the week. Her stellar play helped Coffeyville win its conference home opener over No. 4-ranked Highland with another double-double, finishing with 12 kills and 16 digs. Concepcion averaged 10.2 kills and 12 digs in the five matches.

Riley Bontrager had two of her highest assist totals of the season while helping the T-Birds remain unbeaten on the year while improving their record to 10-0 overall. In a four-set victory over KCKCC, Bontrager finished one dig shy of a double-double while giving out 42 assists and four kills. The Seneca, Kansas native would follow up her performance by recording another 34 assists in a four-set victory over Barton Community College to run her season total to 311 (12th highest total in the NJCAA) despite playing in three less matches on average than those ranked ahead of her.

Returning All-American Rylie Barnum tallied 95 digs to help Johnson County to a 4-1 record last week. Two of their four wins were against top-20 ranked teams, and their only setback was to No. 1 ranked Parkland. Barnum also had 13 service aces last week, including a career high eight in the sweep over McHenry County. She currently ranks third in the conference with 176 total digs this season, and second with 25 total aces.
