In a busy week for the Lady Red Ravens Faith Simpson was a huge reason the team went 7-0 and lost only one set in those seven matches. Simpson led the team in kills with a total of 77 and hit a whopping .317 for the week. She had a pair of double doubles on the week with kills and digs and had a total of 27 aces. For her efforts she was named Co-MVP at the Fort Scott Tournament.

The sophomore setter from Blue Springs, MO recorded a double-double in every match on the week except one – including the win over No. 13-ranked Cloud County where she had a season-high 65 assists. Foster now has nine double doubles on the season – assists/digs and ranks third nationally in assists per set.

Abbie Casper continues to set the bar high for defense and serve receive. In all six matches this week, she had double digit digs. She averaged 5.05 digs per set and provided the squad with numerous second and third chance rallies in the back court.
