KJCCC Division II Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

Freshman Iva Halacheva averaged an amazing 5.16 kills per set on the week while hitting .344. She totaled 93 kills, 12 digs, and added 12 service aces and 3 blocks. She recorded her first career 30 kill match in a win over No. 19-ranked Kirkwood and was named to the Triton Invitational All-Tournament Team after helping Cowley to a 4-0 record on the weekend. She is currently ranked first in the Jayhawk Conference and second nationally in total kills. 

KJCCC Division II Volleyball Setter of the Week

Sophomore setter Caroline Foster averaged an eye-popping 13 assists per set in a win over No. 11-ranked Iowa Central and finished with an average of 11.83 assists per set and 2.39 digs per set while helping Cowley to a 5-0 week. She recorded two more double-doubles to give her 18 on the season and was voted by the coaches as the Best Setter at the Triton Invitational Tournament. She currently leads the Jayhawk Conference and all of NJCAA Division II in assists per set. 

KJCCC Division II Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week

Cidra, Puerto Rico

The sophomore from Puerto Rico averaged five digs per set on the week as Cowley ran its winning streak to 26 matches in a row. Delgado passed an impressive 2.32 passer rating on the week and recorded 26 digs in the win over No. 19-ranked Kirkwood. She also added 12 service aces on the week to rank second in NJCAA Division II and move into second place in Cowley history with 156 career aces. She was voted by the coaches as the Best Libero of the Triton Invitational Tournament.
