KJCCC Division II Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

Laura Bonomi, a freshman outside hitter at Cowley College, recorded three double-doubles on the week, giving her 11 out of 17 matches. She recorded double-digit kills in all five matches on the week as the Lady Tigers remain unbeaten.

KJCCC Division II Volleyball Setter of the Week

Rossana Papa recorded her 2,000th career assist at Cowley as she helped the Lady Tigers go 5-0 on the week. Only five-setters have reached this mark in the history of Cowley volleyball. She is first in the NJCAA in assists per set and first in the KJCCC DII in assists per set at 11.90.

Freshman libero Lillie Sullivan moved into the starting lineup this week and took advantage of her opportunity. She tallied 75 total digs, an average of 5.0 per set, and was in double figures in all five matches. She recorded 18 digs against Metropolitan, 16 against St. Louis, 15 against Southeast, and 14 in the win over Park, which ranks one through four in her best match efforts this season.
