JCCC sophomore Christa Heideman, a nine-time All-American as a freshman, posted her second straight individual victory, topping the field at the Cavalier Cup, Friday, Sept. 7. Heideman crossed the finish line in 12:13, 26 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor. The Wamego native opened the 2007 cross country season with a victory at the Baker University Maple Leaf Invitational.
