Alli Jenicke sophomore co-captain, outside hitter from
Kansas City, KS led Allen to a 2-0 record for the week
beating Longview Community College who was receiving votes
in the national polls, and KCKCC who was ranked 16th in the
NJCAA for Division II. Against Longview CC, Alli led a very
balanced attack with a double-double of 15 kills and 13
digs. This trend continued in Allen’s first road conference
match of the 2011 season, with a 5 set victory over the KCK
Blue Devils. Jenicke earned a double-double of 16 kills and
23 digs on the night. Allen came back from an 11-14 deficit
and Jenicke contributed to the match winning block.
