The Kansas City Kansas Community College women's soccer team (6-0-1) defeated the Barton Community College Cougars (3-2-2), 3-0 Sep. 11 at the Kansas City Kansas Community College Soccer Field. The Blue Devils are 4-0-1 in conference play and have let up just one goal in those five games, leading the KJCCC.

Kiara Carr scored in the 10^th minute with an assist from Cora Ellermann. That makes it three consecutive games for Carr with a goal. Jaycee Schumann doubled the lead in the 17^th minute with an assist from Ellermann. Laura Ginguene finished the scoring for the Blue Devils with an unassisted goal in the 84^th minute. The Blue Devils outshot the Cougars 18 to 9 and 11 to five with shots on target. Maria Heuman saved all five of the shots that she saw.

The next game for the Blue Devils women's soccer team is against Hutchinson Community College at 6 p.m. Sep. 18 at Hutchinson Community College.
