Blue Devils Fall to Moberly, 98-64

The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team (4-3) fell to the Moberly Area Greyhounds (5-2) 98-64 at State Fair in Sedalia, Mo. Mikequese Taylor led the way for the Blue Devils with 12 points and went 6-6 from the field.

Moberly was up 45-35 at halftime and didn't let off the gas pedal from there. The Blue Devils shot 10-31 in the second half compared to the Moberly 18-33. There were four technical fouls in the game, three for Moberly and one for the Blue Devils (Taylor).

The Blue Devils had a total 21 team turnovers and only converted on eight from being the arc compared to the Greyhounds 15. Moberly's bench had a total of 31 points, and the Blue Devils combined for 26.

For the game, the Blue Devils shot 44.4 percent from the field (24-54), 36.4 percent from three-point range (8-22) and 57.1 percent from the free-throw line (8-14). The Greyhounds shot 55 percent from the field (33/60), 45.5 percent from three-point range (15-33) and scored 24 points off the 21 Blue Devil turnovers.
