
The Kansas City Kansas Community College men's basketball team took down Southeast Community College in overtime, 97-88 Nov. 30 in Lincoln, Neb. O'shawn Jones-Winslow recorded his first double double of the 2024-25 season with 16 points and 16 rebounds.
Israel Randle had a career day finishing the game with 24 points, four rebounds, three assists and a steal. That is Randle's second game with 20 or more points so far this season. Camron Williford recorded 19 points, nine rebounds and a team-high six assists. Jeremiah Lewis shot 50% from behind the arc (4-8) and finished with 12 points. Pierce Ross once again came off the bench and had an impressive outing with 16 points, eight rebounds and four steals. DJ Long went 3-5 from the field and drained both free throws while finishing the game with nine points.
For the game, the Blue Devils shot 32-84 from the field (38.1%), 11-36 from three-point range (30.6%) and 22-30 from the free-throw line (73.3%). The Bobcats shot 31-85 from the field (36.5%), 7-34 from three-point range (20.6%) and 19-27 from the free-throw line (70.4%).
The next game for the Blue Devils is against Southwestern at 5 p.m. Dec. 7 at Haskell Indians Nation University in Lawrence, Kan.
